Sunday afternoon it was cold and rainy. David's dad called to tell us that he was sitting on his deck outside of his room on the cruise ship in sunny and 80 degree weather. The kids were wearing jackets and long pants wishing that the rain would stop so that they stay outside longer. David was wishing that I was off of work so that he could stay in his chair and not be entertainment director along with meal planner, bath giver, displicine dispenser, and bed time enforcer. That cruise ship really sounds good. Not much longer until mom is no longer covering this crazy shift - just a little longer until we can sit on a deck on a cruise ship with sunny and 80 degree weather. Hang in there! :)
Sometimes my kids can say the funnest words. This morning it was so foggy outside that it was difficult to see. Katie says, "I can't believe how froggy it is this morning." Cole agreed that it was very froggy. Katie sometimes says allergy for alert when playing battle with her brother. Cole says that he takes durteck (Zurteck) for allergies. They were singing, "The weather outside is nightfull, the sun is so delightful, since we have no place to go, Let it snow." Well, at least they say I love you just right.
