I can't believe that the kids have already been in school for six weeks. They are heading into their first school break. I have to admit that I am ready for break too. Homework, projects, lunches, and more homework for two kids is enough to wear a mom out. We have been busy over the past six weeks - our fridge stopped working while we were at the beach - yep, imagine the smell! We had to order a new fridge and I decided to replace the dishwasher. The car has decided to show it's battery light every once and awhile - just to keep me on my toes. The heat has been relentless - the dog has another skin infection - and soccer practice has started. Katie came home with Girl Scout information and Cole's Cub Scouts should be starting up soon. Yep, six weeks are up already. I wonder what the next six weeks will hold?
Sometimes my kids can say the funnest words. This morning it was so foggy outside that it was difficult to see. Katie says, "I can't believe how froggy it is this morning." Cole agreed that it was very froggy. Katie sometimes says allergy for alert when playing battle with her brother. Cole says that he takes durteck (Zurteck) for allergies. They were singing, "The weather outside is nightfull, the sun is so delightful, since we have no place to go, Let it snow." Well, at least they say I love you just right.
