Wednesday, my mom kept the kids for me to work. David came home to relieve her from her duties late in the afternoon. The kids wanted to finish watching a movie that they had selected from the library. David sat in his leather chair to watch the movie with the kids. He started to get up when the chair seat came with him. It seems that Grandma had let Katie eat her pancakes (with extra syrup) in Dave's leather chair and syrup had found its way onto the chair and then David's legs. Needless to say, I received a phone call at work about the syrup filled chair. I called Grandma the next day to tell her about David's discovery. She laughed and said that Katie requested her pancakes in the living room in the chair. Grandma then took an oath to never let Katie eat pancakes in the chair again. David, your throne is now safe. You can reign in your TV kingdom with out fear of stickiness.
Sometimes my kids can say the funnest words. This morning it was so foggy outside that it was difficult to see. Katie says, "I can't believe how froggy it is this morning." Cole agreed that it was very froggy. Katie sometimes says allergy for alert when playing battle with her brother. Cole says that he takes durteck (Zurteck) for allergies. They were singing, "The weather outside is nightfull, the sun is so delightful, since we have no place to go, Let it snow." Well, at least they say I love you just right.
